Uninon Budget 2020–21 Will Boost Healthcare Industry in India?
Finance minister(FM) Nirmala Sitharaman announced Rs 69,000 crore allocation for Healthcare sector which includes Rs 6,400 crore for Jan Arogya Yojana(JAY), to healthcare in Budget 2020-21, a slight increase from 2019–20 (Rs 62,659 crore). FM also announced that Healthcare Infrastructure will be standardized especially Medical devices which are used for medical diagnosis in Aspirational Hospitals
There are about 20K Empanelled hospitals which help in Ayushman Bharth with 112 Districts across India which are covered under Aspirational districts scheme will open New Ayushman Hospitals, in Phase 1, importance will be given especially tier II and tier III cities which still don’t have Ayushman Empanelled hospitals under Public Private Partnership(PPP) mode.
With a Holistic vision of Healthcare, Mission IndraDhanush which provides free Vaccinations, has expanded to cover 12 diseases including Five new vaccines.
With the use of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence(ML/AI) in the Ayushman Bharth Scheme, health authorities can target diseases with an appropriately designed preventive method.
“TB Harega Desh Bachega”, with a slogan to end Tuberculosis by 2025.
